Where To Buy Clearwire iSpot 4G Mobile Hotspot?
If you were like me then you wanted a Clearwire iSpot then you are out of luck. Well you were until I found places that you can buy this discontinued device. You can go to ebay.com and search for it but I wouldn't suggest it because they are well overpriced there. I was bidding on one and it went up to 200 dollars and I stopped bidding. But, now I have purchased a brand new in box iSpot that I bought from Microcenter.com for only 100 dollars which is what Clear was selling them for. Go HERE if you want to buy it.
Now some of you may be asking why Clear discontinued this device and that is because it was just too good of a product. It is a 4G hotspot but, exclusively for iOS devices such as the iPad, iPod, and iPhone. It allowed you to connect upto 8 of these devices to the iSpot. It has 4G speeds of upto 6 mbps download speeds. But, the real reason it was discontinued was because some hackers found a way to remove the Apple device only restriction and could therefore use it on there laptops, netbooks, or other wi-fi enabled devices such as a Nintendo DSi or Sony PSP. So, they decided that charging 100 dollars for this device that connects 8 wi-fi enabled devices for only 25 dollars a month of unlimited 4G data was just bad business. The only small drawback is that it only works where there is Clear 4G coverage but, they are constantly increasing their coverage, in fact they recently put up some cell towers in San Francisco to increase coverage. So, if you want to go and get this great product then hurry up while supplies last click HERE.

Verizon iPhone 4 Rumor
In a report issued Wednesday evening by Bloomberg Businessweek, the alleged coming debut of the iPhone on Verizon is portrayed as an "enormous problem" for AT&T, the current exclusive carrier of the iPhone in the U.S. While AT&T has had sole access to the iPhone since 2007, problems with its network have caused bad press, including a recent reader poll from Consumer Reports ranking AT&T the worst carrier in America.
"Verizon enjoys a reputation for reliability," author Peter Burrows wrote. "AT&T is notorious for dropping calls, especially in densely populated places like New York and San Francisco where iPhones are most common and cell towers get loaded."
The report said that Apple would hold one of its own "splashy product introductions to announce a new version of the iPhone that work's on Verizon's network," and said that event would "maybe" come by Valentine's Day.
Some have speculated that Apple would instead allow Verizon to announce the product at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January, an uncharacteristic move for the typically controlling iPhone maker. But the report specifically stated that a CES unveiling is not in the plans.
"Apple's introduction of an iPhone for use on Verizon's network will come sometime after the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January, according to a person familiar with Apple's plans who is not authorized to discuss them publicly," Burrows wrote.
But while the apparently loss of exclusivity on the iPhone is cause for concern for AT&T, the report also suggested that Verizon could experience its own growing pains when Apple's smartphone arrives on its network.
"At least initially, Verizon's iPhone may have weaknesses compared to AT&T's," the report said. "The expense and hassle of changing carriers could also work to AT&T's advantage."
It also noted that iPhone customers may be less likely to switch from AT&T if they are still under contract, as the carrier increased its early termination fee to $325 in May of this year. The carrier also offered early upgrades for some iPhone 4 buyers whose contracts had not expired, locking them in to another two full years.
So, will Verizon unveil a CDMA version of the iPhone any time soon? Some say yes and some say no. But, in the end it really doesn't matter because most people that want an iPhone have one and they are locked-in to lengthy contracts and are probably not going to want to give AT&T hundreds of dollars just so they can go sign a contract to even more expensive carrier such as Verizon. Although Verizon has lots more reliability it is clear that they are the most expensive carrier in the U.S.A. and most people won't want to make the switch from AT&T for this reason alone.
If You Didn't Get An iPhone 4 For Christmas It's Still Not Too Late
The promotion was renewed on Wednesday and will be available through Friday, Dec. 31. Customers can get an 8GB iPhone 3GS for $48.99, or a 16GB iPhone 4 for $148.99, both $51 off their regular price with a two-year contract. On the high end, the 32GB iPhone 4 is available for $248.99.
Radio Shack has also reduced the prices on refurbished iPhones, selling the 16GB iPhone 4 for $124 with contract, and 32GB iPhone 4 for $224. A refurbished iPhone 3GS is now free with a new activation contract, and $24 for upgrading customers.
But unlike the previous deal, the retailer is reportedly not increasing the value of its Trade & Save program. Under the promotion earlier this month, customers who traded in a working iPhone 3G could receive a $75 credit, while a working iPhone 3GS was worth $125, allowing buyers to grab an iPhone 4 for as little as $25.
The three-day sale is again being advertised as Radio Shack's lowest price ever on the iPhone. The previous sale proved to be such a tremendous success that the company was left with a nationwide shortage of the iPhone before the promotion concluded.
Supplies for the new sale may not be readily available, either. At least one store reached by AppleInsider on Wednesday indicated it does not currently have the iPhone in stock. Radio Shack has more than 4,600 storefronts worldwide.

Previously unheard of, promotions of the iPhone became increasingly common this holiday buying season. Another major retailer, Best Buy, offered customers a free iPhone 3GS this December, with a new two-year-contract. The 8GB iPhone 3GS regularly sells for $99 with a contract.

Jailbreak PS3 Firmware 3.5
One of the most secure consoles has finally been jailbreaked. Yes we are talking about the PlayStation 3. The Jailbreaking process is also quite easy to perform. You will need to plug-in a USB and install a Software named Back Up Manager on your PS3 in order to hack/Jailbreak it. Also, be aware of the fact that you need firmware 3.41 to be able to use the PSJailbreak dongle. PSJailbreak is also optimized to be able to downgrade your PS3 firmware from 3.5 to 3.41 in case you updated your PS3 and the PSJailbreak team is working hard to update the dongle for the latest 3.55 jailbreak so be patient. The PSJailbreak is the very first and best USB MODCHIP in the market.
Details on the specifications of Playstation 3 Mod Chip Package.
- The PS Jailbreak is compatible with any existing PlayStation 3 model to this day (either FAT or SLIM).
- We realziar backups in both the Internal HD as an external HD
- Works with all PlayStation 3 games.
- Supports homebrew.
- Upgradeable to add new features.
According to the official site, The exploit works best with V 3.41 firmware. It does support the previous version but some problems were experienced with the other one’s so the latest V 3.41 has been recommended to be used. 150 Games have been tested and work perfect with it.
Things Required for Jailbreak:
1- Firmware 3.41 has to be installed on the console.
2- Backup Manager should be downloaded from this website and copy it on any external USB storage device formatted with FAT32.
Now Follow the following guide carefully in order to successfully jailbreak the PlayStation 3.
Playstation 3 Mod Chip Guide:
Step 1:
First of all you need to switch off the console and follow the following instructions depending on the console you own.
PlayStaion 3 FAT:
Turn of the console from the rear switch.
PlayStation 3 Slim:
You need to disconnect the power cord from the back of the console.
Step 2:
Now you need to connect the PS Jailbreak USB to the USB Connectors (Any USB Connector you may like) on the PlayStation 3. Make sure that no other device is connected to the PlayStaion 3 while Jailbreaking.
Step 3:
Then after connecting the USB, Press the “Power” Button on the PS3 and then press the “Eject” Button. You’ll notice two LED’s on the USB turn on while the console loads.

1- If you see a Green Light on the USB, It means that the Jailbreak is working properly.

2- If you see a Red light, Then it means that the Jailbreak has not been loaded properly which could be due to that you don’t properly press the ‘Power’ sequence and then ‘Eject’ button.

3- If you come face to face with a red light then follow the previous steps again making sure you have cut down power for Playstation 3 Fat, and have disconnected the power cord from the back of Playstation 3 Slim.
Step 4:
After the Jailbreak loads successfully, You need to connect the USB external storage device with Back Up Manager console, Which you downloaded from the Website in the link given above.
Step 5:
Now go to Menu and move to option ‘Install Package Files’, and select Back Up Manager, ‘Manager.PKG’.

Step 6:
After the backup manager installs, Select it ( The Backup manager) and Press Button “X”.

Step 7:
After opening the Backup manager, Insert any DVD game and select whether to make a back up on the internal HDD, or the external USB storage device. If you do want to make up a backup on the External HDD, Press “O”.

Step 8:
If you want to load a previously created back up, Insert the DVD in the gaming console and select the desired back up from the Back Up Manager and press X to install the game. If you want to delete any previously created backup, Press /.

Note. The reason behind inserting a DVD in the console is to emulate the loading process.
Step 9:
Once you have installed the game, You will automatically be redirected to the main menu where the game can be seen installed and ready to be played.

iPad 2 Rumors
iPad 2 activity continues to heat up with the latest report claiming Apple will offer multiple configurations of the new product, with an accent on provision of pervasive Internet access.
Apple is expected to ship over half a million iPad 2 units in January with mass production set to begin then, the report claims. It seems Apple will offer Wi-Fi-equipped units alongside UMTS and CDMA-savvy iPads, maximizing the always connected Internet device proposition.
Digitimes also tells us “Apple, RIM and HTC will ship, respectively, 19-20 million, 14-15 million and 8-9 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2011, together sharing more than 50% of global smartphone shipments of 80-85 million units.”
Apple is expected to replace RIM as the second-ranked smartphone vendor.
Or with a 20-25% global market share, followed by RIM, Samsung Electronics and HTC.
“In addition to wireless functions, Apple is also working on strengthening the iPad 2′s anti-smudge and anti-reflective treatments in order to compete against Kindle and attract more consumers, the sources noted.”
Apple is expected to take 65%-75% of the global tablet market with 40 million iPad 2.0 sales next year, the report informs.
According to the the well-hooked-up Eldar Murtazin, editor of Russian language mobile-review.com the iPad 2 will have a regular old USB port.
Talked with colleague which working with some ODM vendors connected with Apple. He is research guy. According to his sources iPad2 will have usb port.
European regulators have been forcing manufacturers to unify on the Micro-USB so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Apple play along.
